3D CAD & Visualisation case study
3D CAD and Visualization
To create multiple awards in batches of hundreds with a bespoke finish and graphics from a 2D sketch and material finishes.
The client was very specific about the wood to be used and so the first step was not only to source but to choose the exact batch. We then set about CNC machining the wood into extruded hexagons, these were then chopped to size before CNC turning the tips. We then painstakingly hand finished each award before painting in the required colours. The awards were completed with an individual pad printed graphic, then protected with several layers of gloss lacquer.
